Taking over the Market Hill in Sudbury and St. Peter’s on Sunday, 12th June, the Taste of Sudbury Food & Drink Festival which celebrates the fabulous diverse range of food available on the Suffolk/Essex border. in front of the Town Hall. There will be 5 course menu including drinks for a set price of £25 per head and will be the ideal way to join in with the Queen’s 90th Birthday Street Party which will be held on The Mall on the same day. The menu will consist, wherever possible, of ingredients which can be found on stalls at the food festival.
Leigh-Ondrea owner of Jam Tartz Catering said “we are delighted to be able to showcase the wide range of delicious ingredients which are available locally. There will be seating for 60 at 12.30pm and 2pm with any special dietary needs will be accommodated for. It is recommended that seats are booked well in advance.”
There will be cooking demonstrations by local chefs on the stage outside compered by Mark David, with a new feature for 2016, all the chefs will be asked to take part in the Omelette Challenge throughout the day.
Sudbury has free parking throughout the day, free park & ride from Delphi Car Park and free entry into the festival.
