Gainsborough Trail is an ongoing project to link all wildlife sites around Sudbury to be a continuous circular walkable path. The Meadow Walk is the first section to be opened from the Kingfisher Leisure Centre follow the blue way markers along the old railway track and then onto the Water Meadows. This circular walk is approximately 3.5 miles. The longer Great Cornard walk can be followed to Bakers Mill and then back along the river as an alternative shorter walk. Sudbury is very fortunate to sit so close to the river with its lovely countryside and riverside and railway walk just a short distance from the Kingfisher car park.
