Taking over the Market Hill in Sudbury and St. Peter’s on Sunday, 12th June, the Taste of Sudbury Food & Drink Festival is the perfect summer treat for all food lovers. Local restaurants, eateries and food producers come together to celebrate the fabulous diverse range of food available on the Suffolk/Essex border. Cooking demonstrations (…)by local chefs on the stage throughout the day compered by Mark David will include Alan Paton from Stoke By Nayland Hotel & Spa, the Lavenham Butchers , Regis Crepy from The Great House and Carl Shillingford from Shillingford’s at The Quay. Inside the church cooking demonstrations of the Neff & Siemens steam combination ovens and Neff induction hob organised by KSL Sudbury.
The event aims to be a foodies paradise and book now to enjoy an imaginative 5 course tasting menu using fresh, locally sourced produce at our fabulous seated street party in the marquee in front of Sudbury Town Hall at the Jam Tartz Catering pop up restaurant. Mark David said: ‘This will be the fourth Taste of Sudbury and I have loved taking part every year. It is a fantastic way to showcase all the great food and chefs we have in the area and having fun on stage with the Guinness World Record attempt and all chefs attempting the omelette challenge’.
Sudbury has free parking throughout the day, free park & ride from Delphi Car Park and free entry into the festival. The event is organised by the Sudbury Town Team who represent the interests of local business and the food festival is only possible with their support, sponsorship and help.
