Until the 24th July, Gainsborough’s House are displaying nine landscape paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. This is an international collaboration with the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, a museum and gallery in the Netherlands. As a young artist, Thomas Gainsborough was greatly inspired by the Dutch landscape tradition of the seventeenth century.
