On SATURDAY 16 JUNE in St Peter’s, Sudbury Rotary will be holding a CHARITY AUCTION at noon – when Richard Kemsley will be auctioning 50 different ‘lots’, including a two-hour chauffeur-driven trip in a 1927 Humber Tourer, a water colour painting of wild flowers, meals at local restaurants, bed and breakfast at Hill House, a week’s holiday at a chalet in North Wales, whisky, wine, champagne, jewellery and even car service vouchers – so something for everyone.  Even if you cannot come along and bid at the auction you can submit your ‘commission bid’ to the auctioneer so that you have a chance of acquiring something special that day – email lesleyfordplatt@rocketmail for a list of the ‘lots’ and a commission bid form.

Viewing will begin at 11.30 on the 16th and refreshments will be available, including home-made cakes.

Money raised at the Auction will be donated to Compassion (supporting victims of domestic violence) and the Kernos counselling centre, both based in Sudbury.  One special, original artwork has been donated by the Kader Foundation in East Meru, Tanzania; funds raised from that item will go direct to support skills training for teenagers who would otherwise be living on the streets27808_ Sudbury Rotary – Auction Proms Flyer P3
