Everyone who took the opportunity to enjoy the 5 course taster set menu in the Jam Tartz Pop Up Restaurant were amazed by the food and drink provided. The Jam Tartz chef had previously worked for the Queen and was called out of the kitchen with his team at the end of the meal to a round of applause. The pop up restaurant had (…) been set up in the style of a street party to join in with all the other parties which were being held around the country on the same day. The menu also promoted the other stall holders at the Taste of Sudbury as many of the ingredients and drinks used were provided by the other exhibitors.
Craig Hogg from 55 Above said “It was a great turn out and I’m pleased the rain didn’t stop people hanging around. I had a great success at the show and the feedback from the locals was very positive in regards to our vodkas and newly released gins especially after tasting the toffee vodka in the Jam Tartz menu”.
This was the fourth annual Food Festival held in the centre of Sudbury on the Market Hill and inside St. Peter’s which was held on Sunday 12th June 2016.
