Sudbury Citizens Advice is moving out of Belle Vue and into new premises within the town. On June 18th they are having an Open Day at Belle Vue and inviting people to come and have a look round before they move out, as the building has an interesting history. Anne Grimshaw from the Sudbury Society has previously given (…)

a talk on the history of Belle Vue at the Quay Theatre and has been asked to come along and give guided tours.  Anne has done a lot of research into Belle Vue and has produced an extremely informative booklet, copies of which will be available on the day.

They are also using the opportunity to sell-off the many books which have kindly been donated for fundraising, and they have all been sorted into categories by our wonderful volunteers to make it easier to find the book you are looking for.

Our volunteers are kindly baking homemade cakes, so will also have refreshments for sale.

There is no entry fee, but a minimum donation of £3 for the guided tours will be very much appreciated.  We are asking people to pre-book a timeslot if possible, between 10.00am and 4.00pm, by emailing Frances Korabik at office.admin@sudburycab.org.uk, or phoning 01787 378204 (this is an admin number only, no advice can be given on this number), but we should also be able to slot people in on the day.
